One of the key factors for achieving high organizational performance is effective management of human resources, the quality of the workforce and the use of modern personnel technologies. A well-built system for assessing and certifying managerial personnel is one of the main tools for increasing efficiency and competitiveness. The article considers the role of certification of managerial personnel in the state civil service, analyzes approaches to assessment and the possibilities of improving procedures for selecting and evaluating employees. The author emphasizes the importance of developing a comprehensive assessment system based on clear criteria and indicators, as well as the need to introduce contemporary methods and tools in personnel work.
