This article is devoted to the study of morphological means of expressing belonging and genetive relations in the Kumand language. The paper examines the features of the formation of forms used to denote affiliation, as well as their functions and role in communication. Morphemic structures, types of suffixes, and their geographical and stylistic variations are analyzed. A comparative analysis with other Turkic languages has been carried out, which makes it possible to identify typical and unique morphological means of expressing these relations. The results of the study contribute to an in-depth understanding of the systemic features of Kumandin morphology and can be used in the development of educational materials and linguistic programs.
