This article addresses the problem of developing psychological resilience in parents of children with intellectual disabilities. The rationale is provided for the idea that identifying psychological problems of parents of children with intellectual disabilities within various components of the structure of psychological resilience will make it possible to further develop and implement a program of psychological interventions aimed at enhancing it. The paper presents the results of a stating experiment on the development of psychological resilience in parents of children with intellectual disabilities. The study involved parents of children with intellectual disabilities aged 28 to 48 years. To identify the level of psychological resilience development, the following methods were used: the Parental Burnout Questionnaire (Efimova I.N.), the Spielberger–Khanin State–Trait Anxiety Inventory (STAI), the Motivation for Parenthood methodology (Lakhvich Yu.F.), the Emotional Intelligence Test (MEI) (Manoilova M.), the Parent–Child Interaction Questionnaire (ODREV) (Zakharova E.I.), the Volitional Self-Control Questionnaire (VSC) (Zverkov A.G., Eidman E.V.), and the Neuropsychic Stability Assessment Questionnaire: Prognosis-2 (NPU) (Rybnikov V.Yu.).
