Analysis of key factors hindering the effective development of small and medium-sized individual enterprises in the agro-industrial sector and ways to overcome them

Abstract

This article is devoted to the analysis of key factors hindering the effective development of small and medium-sized individual enterprises (SMEs) in the agro-industrial sector, as well as research on ways to overcome them. The introduction substantiates the relevance of the problem in the context of modern economic instability and increasing competition in the global agricultural market. Despite the rich potential of rural areas, SMEs often face financial, organizational and technological constraints, which reduces their competitiveness and efficiency. The research methods include a comprehensive analysis of statistical data, interviews with managers of agricultural enterprises and industry experts, as well as the use of SWOT analysis methods to identify the strengths and weaknesses of the development of ISIP. The work uses both quantitative and qualitative approaches, which allowed us to obtain a comprehensive picture of the existing problem. Special attention is paid to the analysis of market and institutional factors influencing innovative development, as well as to the assessment of the impact of government policy on the dynamics of the enterprise. The results of the study showed that the main obstacles are a lack of funding, an ineffective risk management system, poor infrastructure development and insufficient support for government institutions. In addition, the study revealed a low level of implementation of modern technologies in production processes and weak interaction between participants in the agro-industrial market. Based on the data obtained, recommendations are proposed for optimizing financial flows, strengthening partnerships, and stimulating technological innovation through public-private cooperation. The discussion of the results focuses on the need for an integrated approach to solving the identified problems and integrating new forms of ISIP support. The authors of the article emphasize that successful overcoming of barriers is possible with the active participation of both the state and the private sector, in other words, cooperation between all stakeholders is becoming a key factor in the development of the agro-industrial complex. In conclusion, the prospects for further research and practical measures that can accelerate the development and sustainability of small and medium-sized individual enterprises in the agricultural sector are discussed.
