Abstract

The nail service industry is developing rapidly, but the key tools of the master – UV/LED lamps - are still far from ideal standards of safety and efficiency. Most of the models on the market do not provide stable radiation, uniform polymerization, and overheating protection for both the LEDs themselves (due to insufficient heat dissipation) and the device body. This article discusses systemic problems: wavelength instability, overheating of the housing and LEDs, uneven lighting, as well as lack of control over LED degradation and vision protection. The purpose of the research is to develop an innovative lamp that ensures professional quality, skin and eye safety, and stable operation. The engineering development included narrow-spectrum LEDs, an intelligent cooling system, and degradation sensors. The methodology included testing of market models and a prototype, spectral measurements, heating analysis, and expert evaluation. The results confirmed the uniformity of lighting, customer comfort, and stable power. The development is scalable for different segments. The presented solution corresponds to the tasks of equipment modernization in the nail service industry.
