Pragmatic aspects of the speech realization of the concept of the object's life path in various genres of discourse of the Russian and Chinese linguistic traditions

Abstract

This article examines the pragmatic aspects of the speech realization of the concept of "object's life path" in various genres of discourse typical of the Russian and Chinese linguistic traditions. The research is relevant due to the need for a deep understanding of the discursive and cultural features of the formation of semantic structures reflecting the life course of events and the dynamics of the development of objects. The introduction justifies the choice of topic, emphasizing the intercultural importance of comparative analysis, as well as demonstrating the contribution of research to the development of the theory of pragmatics and genre segmentation in linguistics. The methodological basis of the research is based on a comprehensive comparative analysis using the methods of discursive and pragmatic analysis. The choice of corpus material covered a variety of genres (narrative, journalism, scientific speech) in Russian and Chinese texts, which made it possible to identify specific speech strategies and communicative techniques used to implement the concept of the "object's life path". A detailed description of the methodology ensures transparency of the data collection and processing procedure, emphasizing representativeness and cross-cultural comparison. The main results of the study demonstrate that the implementation of the concept in the texts of the two linguistic traditions has both common patterns and fundamental differences. In the Russian tradition, there is a tendency to metaphorically describe an object's life path through an emphasis on emotional and evaluative characteristics and dynamics of events, while Chinese texts predominantly use symbolic and cyclical narrative structures reflecting culturally conditioned ideas about time and development. The analysis revealed specific pragmatic markers that determine the communicative impact and genre of statements. The discussion of the results focuses on the cross-cultural comparison of speech strategies, which allows not only to deepen understanding of the conceptual mechanisms of meaning formation, but also to identify potential areas for further research in the field of interlanguage communication and translation. Thus, the article contributes to the development of theoretical and applied aspects of linguistic research, expanding the horizons of understanding linguistic universals and cultural specifics within the framework of pragmatic semantics.
