Abstract
Heterogeneity in the distribution of anatomical structures and the difficulty in visualizing subclavian spaces during transverse plane block (TPB) can lead to variability in anesthesia. This study evaluates the benefits of using navigational support to improve the accuracy of ropivacaine injection during TPP in patients undergoing colorectal surgery. We hypothesize that navigational support will enable deeper and more predictable blockade of dermatomes critical for analgesia of the colorectal suture zone.
